State-of-the-art tank terminal with ship handling
Cuxhaven, with its favorable location at the mouth of the River Elbe, offers an ideal location for storage services. Our tank storage facility currently has a storage capacity of 1,800 cubic meters. Storage takes place in four independent and individually controllable tanks for maximum product safety. Expansion options exist for a storage capacity of up to 5,000 cubic meters. Plans and corresponding areas are already available for this option.
All product-contact parts of the tank storage facility are made of stainless steel V4A. Pipeline cleaning is carried out using a pigging system with the use of an inert gas. This gas is also used for product overlaying for safety reasons. The filling of liquids up to a density of 1.4 kg/m3 can be done both by water and by land.
Storage and retrieval in 24/7 operation
The products are removed from storage via a calibrated scale, which is also designed as an AwSV area and meets the requirements of the WHG. The facility is built according to the requirements for storage and handling of liquids according to VbF-A and B and fulfills the necessary technical and safety aspects. State-of-the-art products are stored.
The entire tank farm is monitored by camera and video. Access control and documentation is carried out by ISPS-trained personnel.
